The Information we collect

Information is collected from you when you place an order on the site. The information we collect is clearly set out on the web page on which we collect it. . Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our on-line store. Hear at Equi Stone we strive to provide a high quality mail order service. We aim to provide reliability and good customer service. We hope that a large percentage of our new clients are recommended by satisfied existing customers.

We are a family run business, with a strong equestrian background and we have full hands on control. We make sure that you, the customer, receive the service you have come to expect from Equi Stone.

You can view our catalogue here on our website, and order the products you want on-line, confident that our level of customer service is always of the highest standard. All major cards are welcome.

We will endeavour to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs; we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.

Our Contract (Order)

The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from Equi Stone, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and Equi Stone will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items despatched, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.

Payment

CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - The fastest way to pay for immediate despatch (stock dependant). We accept all major credit cards (excluding Diners Club Cards).

CHEQUE - Please allow 10 working days for you payment to clear. Cheques should be made payable to Equi Stone.

GIFT VOUCHER - Holderness Horseshoe Riding club members are allocated a unique voucher number. Vouchers can only be redeemed when orders total £60 or more.

We accept online payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.
OFFERS & PROMOTIONS - Please note that when participating in our offers or promotions, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. If free postage is offered, it applies to a Standard Delivery only and excludes quoted and overseas deliveries. Minimum order value of £70 will be required to qualify for postage offers. Equi Stone reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time, should circumstances change.

Returns

If you return an item to us within 14 days in perfect condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange or refund you with the original price. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Personalised and Special order items, DVD's, CD's, Videos, Underwear and Computer software. Personalised and Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and you will be responsible for the cost of return unless goods are faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the returned goods until they arrive in our warehouse.

If you wish to return an item please complete the returns note on your despatch note, include it in your parcel and post it to:

Fair Wear & Tear Guarantee*

Our products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of receipt, providing they are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. If we feel it is necessary goods will be returned to the manufacturer for their comments. Please allow 30 days for an exchange or refund in these instances.

This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Hygiene Regulations

Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974)

Please note: For Hygiene reasons, Underwear is non-returnable.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.  The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

  • Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
  • Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled.  Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

Delivery and handling

We will be pleased to arrange delivery on your behalf via our carrier if requested, in which case please include the postage and handling charge on your order.  Orders collected incur no handling charges. If you require delivery by courier then a nominal charge is made to cover packing and handling.

Price Changes

Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the prices indicated, it may not always be possible, therefore we reserve the right to discontinue any items from this list and change prices when necessary.

Value Added Tax

Prices shown include VAT of 17.5% where applicable.  Equi Stone reserve the right to alter prices shown in this catalogue in the event of a change in the level of VAT.

Availability

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be informed and offered an alternative.

Prices listed on the website may differ from those in the shop. Every effort will be made to maintain the prices shown on the website. However, we reserve the right to discontinue any item from those shown and to amend prices when necessary.

Postage & Packing

Mainland UK - 3-5 working days - £
London (3-5 working days) - £.  This is due to the London Congestion Charge implemented on the couriers.
Channel Islands/N. Ireland - £ (quotation will be given prior to posting on each item).
S. Ireland - quotation will be given prior to posting on each item. We reserve the right to amend postage & packing prices as appropriate. Payments are accepted in pounds sterling only.
There are no current export restrictions.

Damaged or Undelivered Goods

Please check the condition of your parcel on delivery prior to signing for acceptance. In the event that goods are missing or damaged on arrival please specify against your signature and inform us within 3 working days, otherwise no claim can be considered.
